"The Demon of the End and The Angel of the Beginning", The Pop-up Book of Contemporary Demons, and The Pop-up Book of Contemporary Angels, Evil Season 3
Episode 310. This last episode featured both books as the ending to the season 3 finale. I created both book covers, woodcut animations and title page art, all final illustrations, and created virtual 3D engineering for the pop-up books for Season 3 of the show "Evil" on Paramount+, created by Robert & Michelle King. This video from “The Pop-up Book of Contemporary Demons” shows the composited 3D final animation rendered for broadcast by Powerhouse VFX. The only real objects are the physical book, hands, and table.
This animation was a winner in the American Illustration / International Motion Arts Awards.
